Has anyone participated in or led a group study based on the FMO/FWO material?  I have just read the FMO book and as a small group leader, I would love to lead a marriage study based on the books.  The problem is, I am not quite sure the best way to format the study, or even if it's a good idea.  I realize that there would need to be a certain level of group "buy-in" for something like this, but I think my group would go for it.

Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?

Also, if this is a duplicate thread, I apologize.  I did a couple quick searches through the forums and didn't find anything, so I thought it safe to post.

We are about to start one, but we are just going to wing it. Anything you learned would be helpful.

Great idea. I would love to hear your plans on the small group study. I had the same thoughts of starting a group. Not sure if reading a chapter per week as individuals, discussing as wives/husbands separately. Jost not sure on how to come together as couples?

Wow... forgot I had this thread out there. We got the books and companion study guides for all the couples that we led. We split the husbands and wives for the discussions, choosing separate areas of the church so that each group felt "safer" in sharing. We did a chapter at a time, but didn't come back together as couples for discussion until the very end of the study... Each week, the groups were expected to read the chapter, but also to talk to their spouse about what they read and be prepared to discuss it with the group. It was an excellent study and very beneficial to many couples in our church. Hope that helps...
